If you are a computer technician , then you know that hard drive failures are inevitable . So there is a good chance that sooner or later you will face this Data Recovery kind of problem. There are several types of breakdowns, more or less easy to repair.
The good news is that there are a few tools and methods that work quite well. I will therefore share here, with you, the methods that I use and I hope that those who have other Data Recovery methods will take advantage of the comments to share them.
The first thing to do before performing any restoration work is to remove the Data Recovery hard drive from the machine and connect it to another computer as a secondary drive. The simplest method is to use a USB to IDE / SATA adapter.
If you don’t have one available, then you will need to install the disk on your desktop computer as a secondary disk. If you do, make sure the machine detects the disk in the BIOS otherwise you won’t be able to access it once the computer boots.
After connecting the drive to another computer either internally or with the USB adapter, verify that it is possible to browse the contents of the drive. If you can, then all is not lost, try copying the Facebook data you want to recover to another disk. It is possible that only the operating system is damaged and the integrity of user data is not damaged.
There are a multitude of them, with for some specializations: Photos for some, documents for others… And of course some are multitasking. There are also free and paid ones. It goes without saying that the free ones are not always at the top. But if you know of free and really good ones, I’m a taker.
